These folks work extraordinarily hard to produce their yummy maple products which are truly a labor of love. I tried to make the box of candies last more than a few days, but just couldn't resist them. And now that they're gone, I'm enjoying the first-run maple syrup I purchased along with the candies. I put a couple of tablespoons of this syrup into a tiny clear glasss bowl (the beautiful color is part of the enjoyment!), and enjoy tastes with a one-quarter teaspoon. Heavenly!
I usually don’t like real maple syrup. It’s usually watery and not a good flavor. That said, I absolutely love the first run maple syrup so much I ordered another gallon!! It’s so delicious! Thank you for having a quality excellent tasting maple syrup.
I also got the maple dark chocolate bark, haven’t tried that yet but I’m sure it’s delicious also.

I’m getting this candy on the subscription plan. Sadly, I’m running out before the monthly delivery arrives. If anything I wish there were an option for larger candies but that’s a minor quibble. Taking a bite of the candy brings me instantly to early spring in Vermont.
We had been buying syrup in grocery stores,, big mistake, at one time in our lives we were both Vermonters, growing up on farms, always had maple syrup, Now we have the real stuff again, just great syrup
I think I'm a dark/amber rich guy and was really skeptical that I would like this. I find golden syrups to be too mild, and thought this would be even more mild. Instead, this one is just as flavorful as an amber rich, but in a totally different way with a very different flavor. I love it. I'll be getting a bottle every year.
