A small candy with giant maple flavor. You want an honest review? I brought some to work for the office candy dish, but decided my ingrate coworkers don't deserve them, and keep them hidden in my desk. (Coworkers can have stale dollar-store Hostess Mix.) I did give some Maple Drops to my veterinarian and his staff, which tells you how much I love both the candy and my vet and staff.
I got the five-pound bag, but next time I'll get the eleven-pound bag.

This post-Christmas season was my first experience with Mansfield Maple’s peppermint bark candy. It’s good bark, a traditional holiday treat. What distinguishes this bark is the human touch that accompanies the mixture of chocolate and peppermint. I picture small kitchen-style bowls and trays and molds of Santa and trees and elves, all handled by family and friends who rush to meet the seasonal demand for maple goodness as only their hands can produce. It’s different. It’s special.
