My Dad loved this Maple!

I sent this to my 98 year old dad for Father's Day, and he loved it! Brought back memories of Sunday drives to Vermont and picking up maple candy and maple syrup.

Too hard

I. Was so looking forward to this and ordered a pound as it sounded delicious. It was hard and the center was hard and not soft. Tried 2 and wish I could send the box back, I would. Obviously they were sitting on the shelf tooooolong!

Thank you for taking the time to review our candy. I did reply to your customer service email back on June 9th offering a refund or replacement. It may have gone to your spam folder. The offer still stands and I just emailed you again to follow up.

I'm sorry to hear that you received dry, hard candy. We hand stir the candy in 10 pound batches. It doesn’t happen often, but it sounds like your candy may have been slightly over stirred or over heated during production. Strangely enough, our candy tends to get a bit chewy, rather than dry, when it sits for a long time. Delicious Maple Sugar Candy!

My mother used to make her own maple sugar candy, but it was never consistent. It’s great to find a company that makes consistent melt in your mouth batches every time using their own knowledge and expertise! The candy is a little expensive, but worth the cost in my opinion.
