I’ve experimented with this Maple Sugar and I’m obsessed. Sweet potatoes, cookies, pork tenderloin, spaghetti sauce (to take the bite out of the acidic tomatoes) and so much more. My new pantry staple - highly recommend!
Great for baking, gives a wonderful flavor.
I have been using Vermont maple sugar instead of other kinds of sugar for years and like it much better. I intend to continue using it .
High quality as always!
Really adds to the flavor of ruby red grapefruit. I would give it six stars if possible.
really excellent fine texture. good stuff.
This is the bestest! So good and full of maple flavor.
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE TO GET INORGANIC VERMONT MAPLE SYRUP,? PERHAPS SUGAR FREE SALT? GLUTEN FREE SOY BEANS?
While all pure Vermont maple products are naturally organic, there are some differences between the conventional and certified organic options.
When we make the syrup, the sap boils very violently. We have to add a very small amount of vegetable oil to keep the pans from turning into a volcano. In conventional maple syrup, we use a conventional vegetable oil. In certified organic syrup, we use a certified organic oil. In either case, the amounts used are about 1 pint of oil to 1000 gallons of finished syrup. The most commonly used oils are safflower, canola and vegetable blend.
There are other facets to the organic certification process. They involve working with a forester to create a forest management plan, no use of chemical herbicides or pesticides. Even things that seem minor, like not using pressure treated lumber to build our bridges and tubing infrastructure. We also rigorously track all the sap, oils and other ingredients added to make things like the maple bark and mochacinno bars.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
I use this 1/2 sugar 1/2 Maple sugar in my cookies and they stay crunchy on the outside and moist and delicious on the inside.

Alaska the past several days Now the packaging It needs to be about 1/2 inch taller and double Ziploc lock in stead of the single the double allows one to close the bag easier. The 1/2 inch taller allow one to grab it better, and the bag does not tear well (Cheers Bruce)
